Additional Opportunity after the conference:

Are you a PARENT or SIBILING of an ADULT with an Intellectual Disability (ID)? Are you an ADULT with an Intellectual Disability (ID)?

If yes, researchers at Christiana’s Center for Special Health Care Needs want to learn from YOU.

WHAT will I be asked to do?

You will be asked to participate in an interview or focus group that will be about 1 hour long. The interview will be audio-recorded. We will ask you questions about what activities you do each day, who helps you and who you want to help you as you get older. If you are a parent or sibling, We will ask you questions about your experiences with your sibling or child with ID, especially about helping to care for them and planning for the future. As a thank you, you will receive a gift card after the interview.

WHERE will this take place?

The interview or focus group will take place following the Annual Epilepsy Conference at Christiana Hospital’s Ammon Center on November 17, 2018 beginning with lunch at 12:30PM.

WHAT if I change my mind?

You can decide to stop your participating at any time, even during the interview or focus group.
